A Software Defined Radio Satellite Station: The Evolution of its Design

The AMSAT group will also present a live demo of making contacts via the amateur satellite SO-50 on Saturday afternoon. This satellite is similar to a terrestrial FM repeater with separate input and output frequencies but with a coverage area of Canada, US and Central America. Bill Dillon, KG5FQX, will be doing the demo.

Due to the expected heat, gather at the registration desk at the entrance to the Convention Center no later than 1:30 PM and we will walk to the demo site.
